This program has been carefully crafted with great intention and care. We had a unique opportunity to reimagine our original space – we now have a space for a gentle, engaging introduction to school rooted in connection, curiosity, play and joy!
Our Mother’s Day Out program is designed as a half-day experience that blends play-based learning with Montessori inspired practices. We believe children learn best through meaningful play, hands-on exploration, and nurturing guidance. Each day is thoughtfully structured to provide a balance of child-led discovery and teacher-guided activities, helping children build confidence, independence, and a love for learning.
In our classrooms, you will see:
- Open-ended play that encourages creativity and problem-solving
- Purposeful materials that support independence and skill development
- Calm, consistent routines that help children feel secure and capable
- Teachers who guide with intention, warmth, and respect for each child
Our goal is to create an environment where children feel safe to explore, supported in their growth, and excited to come to school each day. We also understand that for many families, this program is a first step into a school setting. We take that responsibility seriously and are committed to partnering with you through every stage – offering communication, reassurance, and support as your child adjusts and thrives.

9:00 – 9:30: Workshop – Center Time & Fine Motor Prompts
9:30 – 10:00: Outdoor Play
10:00 – 10:30: Snack & Story Time
10:30 – 12:00: Small Groups
12:00 – 12:30: Lunch
12:30 – 1:00: Storytime & Music Time
